Book Review The three little howlers
Updated: Jan 14
By Anneke Forzani, illustrated by Sarah Skalski.
As a MCBD reviewer, I have the privileged in reviewing a charming adaptation of a classic story.
The three little howlers is a smart adaptation of the classic story of the three little pigs.
The story started with the three howlers who wanted to build their own home.
The adaptation follows closely to the original story of the three little pigs but is smart in its usage of Rainforest animals.
Instead of the pigs, the author used the howlers. Instead of the big bad wolf, she used a jaguar.
The illustrations created the scenarios with the lushness of the rainforest.
It is a great version of a classic story for the new generation of kids who have not heard about the three little pigs.
